Stop app from minimizing when tablet is plugged in

Can you customize what action your device does when it is plugged in or unplugged from power. Right now, my tablet minimizes the active app and displays the home screen. I would like it if nothing happened at all when I plug in or unplug my tablet.

If you could give us more detail about your device we should be able to help answer any of your questions and issues. Your issue is not duplicatable on my phone which is and LG LUCID so it could be something with the manufacturer of your device.

If you can't find a setting to change, try a different home/launcher application. The one you're using is picking up on the home/dock intent broadcast by Android when you plug in your device.

The device is a rooted HP touchpad running cyanogenmod. I am not sure what launcher application it uses.

So I tried four different launchers. None of them had a setting for the action when the device is plugged in or unplugged. I also tested it with each launcher. None of them changed the effect of plugging in or unplugging the device. Do you know of a specific launcher that has this feature.

If not then factory reset the mobile so these altered settings will be gone...

i have an asus transformer infinity and my tablet does not do this when it gets plugged in. it just starts to charge and that is it. like mentioned above me, if it was always like this then it might be how it was designed with hp. if this is a recent issue then a factory reset might help. i do not have you tablet so i can't be sure.
