Help stop vibrating in silent mode

[atomic8778]

My Incredible keeps vibrating in silent mode. Is there a way to keep it vibrating in normal and vibrate only, but not in silent mode? As in, I don't want it to vibrate when receiving a message or call in silent mode.

I use handcent if that matters

didn't you post this issue yesterday?...

there's most likely a setting in handcent that lets it vibrate when in silent mode. And there is a setting in the phone that allows vibrating on silent also, sorry can't be of more help as I'm not running a stock ROM. But I definitely remember seeing the setting.

There's also an option in gmail to always vibe or vibe only when in silent mode. That could also be affecting you depending on what's selected.
