Root Strange problem for past 2 months

Ill try to keep this as short as I can. About 2 months ago with MikG I lost phone and text. Got a radio interferance box on the screen every time i tried to text or make a call. I wiped cashe's rebooted and it was good for about 3 days then again no text and phone. This time I just rebooted and worked again. Then I switched to digital Karma a day later and 2 days after flashing Again it happened. I wiped cashes again and was good to go untill I flashed tommys clasic It was ok for about a week Then no phone no text and got the radio interferance notice. So I decided to un root as a last resort to see if it would do it pure stock. I stayed unrooted for about a month and no issues. I was rooted with tacoroot and unrevolked so I thought I would root a little different this time and used tacoroot to roll back the h boot but then I took 1 ota to get the hboot to 2.16 then used revolutionary. Well after 3 days the problem is back Now im on the stock
4.67 build with up to date baseband 2.15.00.12.19 stock kernel. The fact that I had no problem when im unrooted makes me believe its not a hardware problem but either software or something with the misc part. that tacoroot uses to downgrade. and the fact that a reboot corrects the problem for a while. So does anyone have any thoughts on this or any other sugestions on what to try. Sory so long but wanted to cover everything. Thanks

edit: Also 3G 4G and wifi work fine when this is happening.
 
have you tried to update prl and profile? have you tried other messaging apps(ie. go sms)? what exactly is the error you get? maybe a screen shot of it might hellp.

Ive updated prl and profile. Its not just the text but no incoming or out going calls either. When it happens again ill get a screen shot.
 
Well its been a week and no problems:confused: Guess just posting the question here fixed the problem LOL Or OCN came over and fixed it while i was sleeping:tee:
PS Boy its quiet in here I remember when it took hours to read all the new posts:(

actually, since i'm a robot, i do not need to come over to your house......i can do it remotely. i have now remote access to all your computer and phones.....so beware:p:D:p:D

and yeah it is slowing down to a trickle. this phone is now a legacy device and what a legacy. but it is bound to happen as peeps upgrades their phones.

Yeah, he already put a worm into all my computers....but he won't get my phone!;)
 
On a different "NOTE" My upgrade is now and i was at sprint looking at the note 2 and asked the trade value on my mint evo that has always has a screen protector and case on it and was told $28.00. I almost choked from laughter

LOL yeah, it is one reason why i still have mine. it makes for a really good mp3 player. i also use it as an ereader as well. plus it gives me a reason to try some of the new roms that pop up for the evo every now and then......so i'd keep it.
 
Oh if nothing else the most awesome spare phone there is!! with the note at 399 with upgrade if they said $150 id have considered but yea 28 not.
