Root Stuck in bootloop

I downloaded SPB Shell launcher and it was working fine for a day. Then I started getting some random force closes, so I decided to reboot. This proved to be a mistake, because my phone got stuck in a bootloop. I tried various things like wiping the cache and the dalvik cache, but no such luck. I'm running the "sense-less" version of Redemptive rEVOlution.

Anyone have any ideas?

Got a Nandroid backup? That'd be first choice. Wipe data & cache and reload otherwise.

I did have a stock nandroid, so I was able to get up and running again. This has taught me to do nandroids before making any big changes, not just new roms.

At least it's given me an excuse to try out CM7.

Just wondering how you like the Redemptive Revolution (senseless)?

When I get my 32 gb sd card, that was the first ROM I was going to try out, but I never see anyone mention it on here.

Any comments from you or anyone else who's used it for performance/battery life? And how it might compare to other ROMs?

thanks!!

I try to do a nandroid once a week. I use CM7 nightlies so I find it useful since I do a lot of tinkering.

LOVE CM7!

I really liked senseless Revolution. I was using Launcher Pro+, so I didn't need any of the Sense widgets anyways. It was very stable, and I still had use of the sense apps like the clock and calendar. One thing I miss moving to from a Sense-based ROM to a AOSP ROM is the "time and date selector". With AOSP, you can either enter the time or date manually or press the + or - signs a lot.

If he ever makes a gingerbread version of of senseless revolution, I'd probably hit it up.

I'm using RC4 right now and it's pretty stable.
