I got myself stuck in CWM and it wont let me do anything. Everytime I go to turn it on CWM pops up...what should I do?

sweet...thank you much. guess i should keep that on file. all i wanted to do was factory reset my phone cause i have been having issues with the battery drainage and it getting warm so i wanted to start fresh. how do i do that without ending up in recovery?

You can either wipe data in recovery or you can install a stock ROM or ROM of your choosing after wiping data.

Exitrecovery.zip should NEVER leave your SD card also. ;)

thanks guys :D ...still a noob but you cant learn nothing if you dont ask questions. that exitrecovery isnt leaving that sd card...thats for sure. my phone has been dying pretty fast...i charge it full then like 5 hrs later its dead and hot as haitis. i didnt know i would end up stuck like that

If you wipe data/Factory reset from the phone settings I believe that is when that cwm loop happens. Wipe data from cwm. It happened to me once after that I have never wiped data from the phone settings and it hasn't happened to me again. KEEP EXITRECOVERY ON YOUR SD CARD tho. :)

You can't use an Esteem ROM with your Optimus, if that's what you were trying to do. Search for Optimus Q forums, and then go to their "All Things Root" section. Find a ROM that you like and your phone supports. Flash that using your Recovery.

I took the liberty of looking for you, there aren't any ROMs that you can use (that I know of). While you can use the same root method, our ROMs won't support your phone.

update...i dont really know what to do now. It keeps going back to recovery with this optiones
-reboot system now
-apply update from sd card
-wipe data/factory reset
-wipe cache partition
-install zip from sdcard
-backup and restore
-mounts and storage
-advance
-poweroff
