I have TWRP installed. It boots there every time and will not do anything else. I have made a backup, system reset, then restored my backup but still cannot get past this recovery. I choose reboot system but it reboots into TWRP. Any fix for this?

are you on zve? if you made ur bkups already,i would just go to lg.com and look up the esteem drivers and updates, then try the basic update,if that doesnt unroot n return to stock, then on the lg update tool,( top right option button) click it and do the recovery option and it should put u bk to zve out of box, like new.and my personal opinion twrp has caused me probs,so i stick with cwm,if im nt mistakened, there has bn others havn twrp probs too, nothing against the dev.it jus never liked my esteem, but it works great on my nexus 7,hope this helps, you can click my box.com and find pretty much everything you might need, good luck, let me know wat happens

Yeah I may do that. I tried to reinstall #2 from the external card with no luck, still boots into twrp. I'll just update via LG update tool. Bummer.

I had this before that's why I stop using the touch cause it was famous for the bootloop you can try and flash the exit recovery if it let's you if not you are Sol

I will try exit recovery but isn't that for CWM? LG update tool will not work either. I have wiped and reflashed the ROM again but still boots into TWRP. I really hope I'm not bricked. I don't suppose PG will even check this thread. :(

Exit recovery worked like a charm! I've only used it for boot loops. I was gonna be bummed. I just installed a new LCD in this phone because i got it from a girl who had dropped it in a cup of vodka! It was completely submerged, had to replace the battery too. Its a miracle that it still works haha.
