I would like to know what files does Quickoffice support exactly?

I tried to open a word and excel document and none of them opened for me?

I know mine opens, Doc, xls, txt as those are the types i have on my phone ....

Yes, Office 2000/XP/2003 is supported but not the Office 2007 formats such as docx.

Yep, quickoffice does not open Office 2007 documents. Look on the Apps Market, as there is an application that you can download for free, that will open all Excel and Word files to view. For PowerPoint, you have to buy the full version. Can't remember the name sorry, but it is one of the most popular apps.

well 2007 is floored anyway but YES it does let you save in a older version, click the windows icon, save as, > then on the dialog box under the file name choose the file type you want.

I'd suggest 2003 version of office.
