Stylus For The Triumph

Can anyone recommend a stylus for the Motorola Triumph? Would come in real handy for DrawSomething. Give me a link. Please.

I bought a capacitive stylus for my tablet. I had to push extremely hard to get it to work on my phone, much easier to just use my finger :/

I bought a capacitive stylus on Amazon. Just one of the generic ones. I knoe there's different types and whatnot but I honestly can't see any of them being much better than the rest. It works ok, but because of the nature of capacitive styli, I don't really think they're much more effective than a finger.

I've been looking for something for quick sketches and notes also.

Have tried every one they sell @ Staples and returned them all.

I got one from China on Ebay... It looks like a pen with a soft rubbery tip... Works pretty good for only costing a quarter lol

I'm about to return some to Amazon, because they're thicker than some pens I've used and don't offer any greater detail than a finger. Anyone know about thinner ones, closer to what a PDA offers?

To be honest i haven't seen a capacitive stylus that really wasn't the size of a pen except i've seen mini ones like this Amazon.com: iPAD-STYS: iTrek Mini Capacitive Stylus for iPhone 4/4S/3GS/3G, iPad 1/2 and iPod Touch, AT&T and Verizon iPhone 4, Galaxy IIS and Galaxy Tab, Motorola Xoom, Acer Iconia, Asus Transformer, HTC Flyer, HP Touchpad, Blackberry Playbook and A.

Well there are smaller pda like styluses with a thin tip, but the MT doesn't have the technology for it. If you are interested it's called an s-pen and it's what the Samsung Galaxy Note can use.

Please be patient with the Android newbie. :)

Why would this not work on the Triumph, if it's compatible with the capacitive screen?

Well the Samsung Galaxy Note as well as the HTC Flyer have a special sort of capacitive touchscreen that allows smaller specialized styluses to work on them. I'm not exactly sure on all the details, but it just needs a special sort of screen for it to work. Although now that I think about it, you could make a makeshift stylus using a battery, and some sort of conductive metal attached to the negative end of the battery, but if you were to do that you would need a rounded end so you don't scratch the screen even if it is gorilla glass there is still that chance that if the metal were sharp it would catch on something and scratch.
