Not that I expect it to do anything to accelerate the patch process, but I called in a trouble ticket to VZ today. Since I had just done a full factory reset there was not much they could do other than record my issues. My coworker and his wife are returning their DX2's tonight that they bought Friday to replace DX's. They could not shoot video over the weekend for love nor money and hers was overheating to the point of shutdown. They both find them laggy and awkward to use compared to DX on GB. I have all the same issues and I reported as such. I don't shoot much video and I have the extended battery. I don't go to fringe areas that seem to be one source of the overheating. It is really pathetic how bad the quality control is with electronic devices these days. Ship any old thing the public will accept and fix the issues (if even possible) later. What is worse they may or may not fix them before the design life is over, and beyond some point they just stop even trying. If this ends up being a flaw or flaws in the Tegra2 I seriously doubt the consumer will ever know. Because that might necessitate a mass recall. The bean counters will see to it we stay in the dark.
I did find that generally I'm better off with zero 3rd party apps installed after the wipe. But that is not very practical so I'll be installing them 1 or 2 at a time to see if things go noticeably BAD.

I knew this phone came with Blur so I was prepared to accept that and with Launcher Pro I try to forget it's there.
