Root Successful Unrevoked 3.2.1 session?

i'M HAVING THE SAME ISSUES. MY COMPUTER CHANGES FROM BOOTLOADER INTERFACE BACK TO COMPOSITE ADB. EVEN THO I GET THE " THIS WAS A TRIUMPH". DOES UNREVOKED FOREVER TURN S-ON TO S-OFF???

Unrevoked 3.21 has Unrevoked forever included with it. So yes S will be set off (S-OFF) with Unrevoked 3.21 and UR Forever. So basically if you used UR3.21 you do not need to use URForever.

I did not know this...So I could accept OTA updates with no consequences???(I won't but want to see the answer to this question)?

Right, if you rooted with unrevoked 3.21, you got full root courtesy of unrevoked forever included in the whole process. My understanding is that it sets s-off at the radio level so that even a new hboot can't set it back to s-on. Personally, I'd never try it, but in theory, that's the case. My guess is if you actually accepted an OTA, it probably wouldn't actually install.

I've been looking around the net and I believe since I have a stock android 2.2, 3.30 software that I can not root using unrEVOked because it's not updated with the new software. :(

Check your hboot version - turn the phone off, hold down the volume down button, then turn the phone on while holding volume down. Once in hboot, you can find the version. If it's 2.02 (which it probably is based on what you've already said), you are correct in that you cannot root with unrevoked until they update it.

Should prolly close this thread. Unrevoked 3.2.2 is out... See my new problem thread.

as someone pointed out....that is for the incredible...but I am sure we will see the evo version soon. They expected it to be out by the end of this week
