Saturday last week I was at San Bernadino, CA at a rave with roughly 50,000 people in attendance. Because of the mass number of people, my phone had a ton of trouble connecting to 3G and as a result the battery drained SUPER FAST (from 80% to 15% in 20 minutes). I think because of the large number of people at this event and with all the cell phones connecting to the same tower, it probably overloaded the tower. I was amazed how fast it drained because of it trying to constantly connect to a tower.
I wished I knew this or I would have turned off data to save battery life. Has anyone seen a similar issue (aside from the TWS issue) when attending an event with large number of people?
