So just an update here. I flashed SC 2.2 over SC 2.1 without wiping anything and my lag/freeze problems disappeared... until, I flashed the revolution clock back into my notifications bar. I noticed it right away, freezing up on me again. So I reflashed superdark (which was previously on there), and it went back to being lag free. I didn't realize something so simple could cause such issues, but i'm glad I figured out what the problem was. It's been running great ever since

sounds like weird issues to me...just flashing a service.jar zip without heavy edits to it should have no impact on performance...weird

So I decided to reflash the revolution clock restore and now it seems fine. Must have been a coincidence...

yes...just make sure to not flash a nonvoodoo version over a voodoo versoin

What about flashing SC2.2 (voodoo) over SC1.0 (DL30 version)? Do I need to wipe data?

do you need to? no, i dont think so (although id wipe cache because of changing kernels)...but i personally wipe data constantly as im paranoid

worked! thanks for your help and clarification. This is an off topic question but is there any way to get the email app from 2.1 because it seems that the new one doesn't allow me to connect to my work's exchange server saying my phone doesn't support a certain security feature necessary. my exchange server requires a password and encrpytion of data.

I have the same problem, anyone have a solution. in the meantime, i flashed back to DLI0 then ato to EB28

Thanks. It's just that I spent hours setting up all my screens with widgets and shortcuts, adding ringtones to the system folder, and some other customizations after I wiped to install DL30, and I really didn't feel like doing that all over again 1 week later.

I'll try without wiping data, and if I have too many problems, then maybe I'll do a wipe an reflash.

Ok I love the SC2.2 butequalizer miss the touchwiz music player with the built in equalizer where can I find the stock music player or a better one. The equalizer is needed when I use the bluetooth headset.

Power amp is a great music app with an equalizer. You must intall the free trial version first to be able to unlock the paid version which is like $5. I think the trial lasts 2 weeks??
