Help Superpad 2 Flytouch 3 firmware update-Official Releases

you should be able to update through sd card. Thats at least how i've done it.
Not sure why yr sd card gets unmounted when u turn off yr device. Did you try doing a reset instead ?
 
No, not yet. I've been a little hesitant to use the reset button because I dont wanna lose all the apps and stuff I have installed, but I suppose I'll give it a shot. If that doesnt work, are there any other methods I can use?
 
read a lot about this "Tims 3a rom". I just bought a Superpad. Was disappointed after about 30 minutes into it.
I want to upgrade it to Tims 3a rom.
Please, can someone post a link?

I have a 600 screen Flytouch 3, I want to update the firmware but can only find firmware for 576 screens. Is there any firmware available for my model or am I being stupid and cant find it? If so, a link would be nice. Thank you.
 
Duskwolf, try a different card. 2Gb ones tend to work well.

Beherit, remove the SD card then download again mate.

Paul, where are you looking? Most ROMs are 600s, the 576 ones have only just come out.
 
I am in the need of flashing my tablet. I figured while I am at it, I may as well update the firmware.

Can someone please tell me what firmware would be best?

I updated my SuperPad 2 to this firmware, yes it is good stuff, but it have bug - when i touch the screen (only the right side of screen are affected on vertical position) speakers are sillently buzzing, and speakers also are generating silent noise. If some one tell me how to fix this bug i will be gratefull. Sorry for my English

Edit: Maby the silent noise from spekers is from mic - mic is always on... and when is scratch or touch it (mic) from speakers I am hearing it. But i don't know why is is also buzzing when i am using touch screen (right side)
 
I am still looking for help on this. My tablet needs to be flashed and I am wondering what firmware I should update to. Seems like a good time to update it. Besides, I still can't play YouTube videos on it and am hoping an update will fix it...

For me USB Flash and Digital Camera (Olympus, Fuji and Canon tested) not workig via USB.
I see device (notification) when is disconnected, but nothing is mounted !
Device is detected, I see details with dmesg, but no mounted ...
Only solution is root and use some shell script mount/umount using GScript Lite like this:

echo **** Mount USB 1 ****
echo Step 1: Unmount ALL if mounted ...
umount /mnt/udisk1
umount /mnt/udisk2
echo Step 2: Mount ALL ...
mount -t vfat /dev/block/sda1 /mnt/udisk1
mount -t vfat /dev/block/sda2 /mnt/udisk2

I installed the 3c.

Seems to work ok. The Apps from the Market download very slow compared to the stock firmware?

You mentioned it would be a good start. Are there other options for firmware that may be better?

I got my Superpad III about a month ago, did the firmware upgrade to Android 2.2 and it was working great. then 2 days ago the wi-fi started having issues. Now it will recognize my router connect and then drop.. Here's me info: Model # Disco, Android version 2.2-20110316, kernel version 2.6.32.9 and build #frf85b.

It sounds like I may need to run the firmware upgrade again and I didn't know if there was a newer version. outside of that not working it may be a hardware issue and I will send it back. But I hope to avoid having to do that so any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Hi friends i just purchased flytouch 3 and it arrived today. When i pressed the power button it just vibrates and does not powers on. Please help me what to do as i am very tense as this is my first android tablet...... waiting for your reply.

Did you plug in the charger? Maybe your battery is too low to power up. Let it charge for a bit and try again???

Hello to all of the forum,
It has been a week since I bought my Flytouch3. And I am facing some problems to solve. I apologize in advance for my questions, is that I am novice in these matters Android tablet and Chinese. One problem is the functioning of flash videos like on YouTube, with good color and quality. I've downloaded the programs and Youtube Videobox new version, but these do not have all the videos and the interface is strange to those accustomed to the browser. I installed this updated version of Flash (Flash only, not the rom), it works perfectly, but when I disconnect the Flytouch, Flash back to the old version seems bad. Reading the topic, informed me I should uninstall the old version and then install this new version. But I do not know how to do it, because the normal application desistala
 
An important issue that greatly concerned me is that the CPU and ram is less than that described by the seller. Have I been fooled? The CPU is not InfoTM x220 1GHz ARM11, but iMAPX200 ARM6 800MHz. And memory is 512mb, but 372mb. This is shown by the 'info sistem android'.
Another problem is the external speaker, the sound is too low, you do not hear anything. Is there any way to solve this? Moreover, it does not come into Portuguese, I used More Locate 2, but it does not translate the menus. Is there any solution for this? The battery is certainly not the amperage that is described. And it lasts 6 hours with wifi as stated in the ad. Lasts 3 hours max of active use. One other problem that I thought it would be like. is the maximum screen brightness is still weak. I see nothing on the screen in bright places. I searched Google for these solutions and came across some update to solve these bugs, but I wonder how, get feedback from the experiences of others who have done these updates.

Yes the CPU has 800 mhz, Ram has 512 mb but 372 is for OS, the rest of it belongs to grapfics.
