Root Superuser stopped unexpectedly?

After installing (mikeg 2.57, chop suey, setcpu, and titanium back up) super user stopped unexpectedly. I've also open up set CPU and it can't detect root. I've also allowed super user to access setcpu. Is task killer interfering? What am I doing wrong here?

seems there is a bad version of su going around. kinda like the flu.

Remember that file in Rooting gingetrbread for dummies? dl and wipe cache and d cache and flash it again. should be good to go.

Setcpu can not access root.

right, go to rooting for dummies gingerbread, before rooting part, dl the superuser file and reflash it.

All u need to do is flash this su file it will downgrade the su to the previous one before all the problems
superuser su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip

yes it is, I have had to do it too. lots of people in here having been having this problem in here.

I wouls just wipe cashe and dalvic cashe Then flash su

So i flashed the older version of super us and its tell me that the su binary is out dated. I've updated before and rebotted but when i went to the super user app, screen pops up with superuser stopped unexpectedly. What should i do? Not upgrade or just leave it as is. If I don't update, will it affect the cpu seting? ROM I'm running is Mikg 2.57, kernels is chop suey. I haven't noticed to much battery life. Help?

try wiping dalvik cache and cache.

If you wanna update it go for it, but theres always the possibility you'll have to reflash and start over

There is an updated version available in the market that is supposed to have this issue fixed. Version 3.0.5 has the problem. Version 3.0.6 is available for free download.
