ok i've played and played and i'm in luv
here's a screenshot of my home screen. the home button hides everything on the screen so that yur pic can be shown. the favs i put all my fav contacts in. i've uploaded it to sw and it's called mysweeterhomefinal if yur interested in this way girly girl look

Help get Sweeter Home 2 released for 1.5 --- send a request for 1.5 to @sweeterskins.
If enough requests are generated, they will release a build for 1.5

You see calls, messages, etc.. How do you add stuff to music for eg??
Seriously there's no 1.5 support for this? I've really been looking forward to trying it out on my Eris, but when it says 1.6, it means 1.6. Bah
I am so with you there, I was watchin the site eagerly waiting the release ONLY To find out that its 1.6 or higher!! UGH Come on ANDROID release 2.0 for us IMPATIENT Eris Owners lol!
Done, I waited so long to only find out it wasnt for 1.5. Android needs to give us 2.0 and call it DONE!

I really badly wanted to give this a go, so I tried reinstalling last night and ended up with the same results. But I wasn't giving up that easily, so last night I flashed back to the virgin oem and removed Su and busybody ( just for the hell of it ) and played with SweeterHome all night and all morning so far and have just barely scratched the surface of what possible with this app. I am loving it!
So glad you were able to get it to work, I am having a blast with it.

I am using Sweeter Home Preview 2 and I am loving it! My only problem is that I have downloaded the Sublime theme and I am for the life of me unable to my Pure Messenger and Pure Calendar widgets to work!! It just continues to show "Loading data..."!
Does anyone else have this problem??

Its a great home replacement app. At first its a little overwhelming to set up but once you understand it, its easy to customize. Honestly i don't know why he added the 4th and 5th screen with the current functionality of the app it renders them almost useless because you have everything set up in trays eliminating the cluster F***.
I know this is a beta blah blah blah but i does have some BIG BIG flaws. A search button bug that crashes the app instantly when the search button was press was the most notable just because i hate force closes, but i restarted and it has yet to happen today. the next thing is lack of landscape support yeah there is none it just give a error in the corner when i try to edit. The last thing that bothered me was the widget update time is like ten minutes so my clock widget is pointless as all hell. Overall i think when it comes out of beta it will be one of the best home replacements.

Just installed it, and I am playing around with it now. So far so good, but I don't want to jinx myself. Will update soon.
Yes same problem here.
Go into edit theme mode and edit the particular widget block and there is a setting with something like configure widget. Configure it through there and it will hopefully fix your problems.

Download Home Switcher from the Market.
I can't seem to get this to work. I'm trying to put a tray on each homescreen that contains the same set of buttons (Apps, Browser, Contacts, Phone, GTalk, and Handcent). One the main homescreen (the center one) I created a custom tray. I also added an "All Applications" window. Exited edit mode, tapped on the Custom Dock, went to "Springboard..." and chose "All Applications (AppGridBlock #12)". Works fine, the button opens and closes the All Applications windows.
Go to left homescreen, paste both the Custom Dock and the All Applications window. Again, add a Springboard, which this time read "All Applications (AppGridBlock #16)". Works fine, but when I go back to the main homescreen now the button for the first springboard is no longer working. If I re-add it, the button for the left homescreen no longer works.
I tried not copying and pasting (instead, created a separate one on each page), but same problem.
What am I doing wrong?

Why not just copy the springboard from the working one to the nonworking one then open it to edit and select what block you want it to control. That may work, let us know.
I was apparently doing it wrong. Got it now.
Is there any way to use an icon for a springboard instead of a piece of text?
Also, the the screen becomes a bit of a mess when I turn the screen horizontal. (e.g. things become cut off, things aren't lining up properly, etc.)

Small couple of question question, how do I add more screens...not that is really necessary with this, how do I add widgets? I can also move the screen up and down, but it is all black, how do I turn off this feature or put something there?
