Root switching from Liberty back to Apex...

Newbie
Hey guys...so I was using Liberty the last few days. I was having issues with the Market FC that many were having and a couple of other issues.Though i liked the speed, I did miss some of the things Apex offered.

so for the time being, I am trying out Apex again. When i went back to Apex, I did a factory reset and wiped cache.
What i still notice is on reboots with Apex, I still get a screen with the word LIBERTY and then it switches to the Apex Android boot animation. I also notice that the last wallpaper I used remains after I wipe.

Is there a way to clear everything? I am not sure what wipe options i can utilize in Recovery and not screw up my card.

thanks,.

Either do a factory data reset then restore apex or go back to liberty and change the boot logo back to the motorola logo. There's an option to do that in the liberty toolbox.

Gl!

well, when I was using Liberty my boot would look like:

1. screen with word LIBERTY (faded dim looking)
2. boot animation with LIBERTY Eagle logo (rotating)

Before I moved back to Apex, I switched the boot animation to the stock Motorola and got:

1. screen with word LIBERTY (faded dim looking)
2. boot animation with stock Motorola logo.

Now that i have moved to Apex, I still get:

1. screen with word LIBERTY (faded dim looking)
2. boot animation with stock Motorola logo.

Did I miss something in the Liberty toolbox?

Another option is to install this zip that was creating using Black Hat's Logo replacer process:

http://db.tt/jLQWgMh (Motorola Default Boot Logo)

Just install the zip using Bootstrapper like a normal zip file (theme, etc)

Mine does this as well but I have experienced nothing negative operation wise. I reboot so seldom I don't really care.

honestly? and sbf or maderstock is really overkill for this. It is a simple boot logo flash issue. It's kind of like transplanting a lung if someone has a little cold. ;)

I was just stating what worked for me... when I got stuck with the tranQ boot screen I tried everything that's been stated nothing worked until I used the maderstcok.zip... maybe the problem he's having is a whole lot different then the problem I had but I figured i would at least TRY to help out the op... my bad I guess...

ooooooooooooooh.. well that makes sense. He's not stuck though.. He just has the Liberty boot logo. :)
