Root Switching status bar icon with RTP

Soooo I was bored and decided why not change up my status bar a little. I went into ROM toolbox and started messing with the icons and I've ran into a few problems.

The 4g symbol changed and is working just fine, but the icon for the signal goes back and forth from the default one to the one I tried to change it to. I also tried to change the battery icon and it didn't change at all, and I tried both 10 and 1% intervals. I rebooted each time and for the record I did make a backup before I started playing with it.

Any one have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

The battery and the signal battery don't really work... I recommend you using uot kitchen.

I've never had a problem changing the icons; except the battery icon never changes. Have you tried picking another icon?

yeah, my wifi, signal, and 4g are changed to what i want, but they do switch in and out from stock, usually its after my phone has been in sleep for awhile. the battery, well with rtb it never changed for me, as said above, get in the kitchen!

You can change everything but the battery.
