Help Swype affecting battery? ??

Why does the default swype keyboard in the keyboard settings show up on my battery manager as using battery?? When the regular keyboard doesn't? ???

My guess is because swype is a separate program it gets a separate listing.
The stock KB is part of the system so it get included there.

That is so weird. So do you think it drains battery since its a separate program?

What SNeitzel is saying is that the The stock KB uses battery too but doesn't show up separately in battery manager because it is built into the Android OS. While Swipe comes on the Bionic, it's still a separate 3rd party app.
