Help Swype for Nexus?

So with the keyboard up, and the notification menu down, I'm not seeing "select voice typing"

I'm running AOKP 26 ROM, so maybe it's not on there anymore.
 
I just downloaded Swype. I've used it in the past but always found Swiftkey to be better. I'll give it a try on my nexus and see if I like it.

Have any of you switched from Swiftkey and liked it more? Swiftkey is pretty awesome.

I've been back and forth between Swype, Swiftkey, and the OEM keyboard (voice actions). I like the word predictions of Swiftkey, but I've found if it doesn't have the word I'm looking for, it causes me to slow down my typing as I have to constantly look to see if it gets the right prediction (when I could have just finished the word to begin with). When it works, it's wonderful...when it doesn't, it's tedious.

So for the time being, I Swype; though it would be awesome if Swype got similar word predictions. :)
 
I've been using the modded version that came out first. Is the new official version that supports ICS any different? I heard something about the color scheme not looking as good. Should I go ahead and get the official one?

Well, according to Swype, we all should.

But honestly? Mine is working just fine as is. It's a nice small file with only two languages in it, and it's ICS blue. There's no way I'm switching to the official one unless they find a way to shut this one down once it's already on my phone.

You bring up a good point. The color is all wrong for ics. It's orange now. On my incredible it was blue. I would really like to see it blue again. My modded version was orange too but i see where you can pay for other colors.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. Would you mind snapping a screenshot? Is it the Enter, Backspace, and other highlighted buttons that are orange?

Ohhhh, ok. Yeah, that's how mine already is with the modded version. So no other difference? Guess I'll go official then, so I can stop worrying about the unofficial one.
