You rang? ;) :)

I haven't used Swype in ages, myself, so I'm not sure how much help I could be.

Posting more specific details about the issues you're having might elicit others to chime-in.

I could also move your thread to the Applications area for you if you want (let me know)--might be other's that hang-out there that have some ideas that could help you.

Cheers!

Something similar happened to me after I installed their beta from the Swype website. Even after uninstalling it, regular Swype and other input methods started going glitch-fest on me. I restored a backup, and I was fine after that. The only other thing I can think of is to force stop it and clear the app data from manage apps menu, then re-launch it. If that doesn't work, you could try extracting the apk from a stock rom and reinstalling it. Otherwise, there's always the old faithful unbrick/unroot guide that will put you back to stock... Not sure if it's THAT important to you, but just some suggestions.

tryed killing it and stuff. it didn't do anything. anyone got the all so I can try that? I think its crap I can't just redownload it from the store.

Did you try to reboot? --Sorry, I don't have one if those handy-dandy upload accounts or nuthin, but just google "Swype apk" and a version of Swype should come up. There's a link to the xda developers website that comes up with an older version of Swype. You can definitely trust that website. You may have to put the apk in "system/app" folder from the root of your phone before installing it, but maybe not? You may be able to install it like a regular app. Give it a try, it won't hurt. I'm not sure what the latest version of Swype is, just make sure it doesn't say beta, cuz that one's not fully stable. Good luck!
