Help Swype on thunderbolt

You can't get swype unless it is built in or you are in the beta program. You can try shapewriter or ultra keyboard as an alternative.

You sure your autospace works? mine has the little red space lock thing on the right side of the space bar.. and yes, i went to settings

I was previously using Swype with my Eris. I went back to the Swype website and reset my phone info (a process that can only be done once BTW). I then downloaded the Swype APK installer, which in turn installed the Swype Beta full version. Then it was just a matter of enabling Swype and changing the input method and VOILA! I did all this from my TB BTW! Happy Swyping;-)

Looks like i need somebody with an eris to fix this i guess.. I did the same thing you stated with DX though, so thats why i'm screwed..

No, they didn't want to pay the licensing fees to Swype.
