I just downloaded swype but it doesn't auto space like the instructional videos show. Is that a setting I need to change or does it not auto space on droid? I have auto space on but it doesn't work.

Yes in settings... once you have swype your finger on any word and let go, when you got to swype the next word thats when it will auto space...
I thought the same whem i first used it...6 months ago. when and doubt you can always reboot your phone as well...;)

Oh ok I see I thought it put the space when you life your finger not when you type the next word. Thanks for the help!

Hmmm...this was not my experience with it at all. I actually had to go in and UNCHECK the "Auto-spacing" box because it kept inserting spaces where I didn't want them, and this was WITHOUT using the swype key. This is what happened with me anyway, not contridicting you and your experience with the program.

I installed it but how do I make it work ? sorry for the dumb question but I dont see where the program installed
You actually download the installer, you still need to open up the installer for the keyboard to load.

If that is already done, press and hold your finger in any text field, you'll get an option for "Input Method", you should be able to change keyboard preference there.

Yet again....
