Help Syncing Contacts and Calendar.

I use contacts on my gmail account and also have a google calendar.

Lately syncing has gone to pot; why can't something as basic as this just work?

Sorry for rant but swearing at the devices does no good!!

I have a google calendar that I update either on my pc via Firefox, my S2 phone via PimlicalA or my tablet via S Planner. When I change one I want all to reflect this; no matter if I set to auto or manual and refresh they seem to ignore each other, most of the time. Today I update two appointments on my PC; a manual refresh on my phone updated PimlicalA and the stock calendar. Later I added an appontment on PimlicaA; this updated the stock calendar but not the PC or tablet; refreshing many times makes no difference.

I added a contact on my PC via Firefox but this has not updated my phones contacts; don't bother with contacts on my tablet yet.

Phone Andriod 4.1.2 - Tablet 4.1.1 - PC Win 7 64 bit.

Can anyone please advise how I can set up these devices to reliably sync?

Nobody?

For the moment forget contacts and deal with calendar. I had it working up to some months ago; probably when I updated the S2 phone to Jelly Bean.

Until then I could reliably look at my phone (Pimlical) PC (Firefox and Outlook) and know that they were in sync.

Lately no.

Galaxy S2 GT-I900P Jelly Bean 4.1.2

Settings > Accounts > Google > Accounts xxxx@gmail.com says "Sync disabled"

Is this the reason my calendar will not sync, if so how do I cancel "Sync disabled"

If I press xxxx@gmail.com I get a list of sync but even tapping "Sync Calendar" only updates my phone calendar to my PC not sync. So if I add an apointment to my phone it is wiped out when I tap Sync Calendar" Not what I want.

I can't offer much help as I've no experience with Pimlical, I'm afraid. My Google contacts and calendar do however sync successfully across multiple devices, so I wonder if the issue lies with Pimlical and JellyBean. Have you asked on the app's support forum?

Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
