I do have some contacts that I directly save to my android phone, some E-mail id contacts are in Gmail Account, then i might have some contacts on facebook too. Say, a person A is my friend on facebook, also i do have added his e-mail in my gmails some time before, and also i saved his mobile number directly to my android phone. Let say in Email id and facebook he has uploaded his two different pictures. Moreover I also have to option to directly attach some of his picture to the contact in my phone. Now when i go to sync with gmail and facebook, my question is what picture is going to be displayed as my contact picture?

In my case, all my contacts are in Google, then i link/merge them to their Facebook and Twitter profiles on my phone. The pictures on my Google Contacts take precedence over the Facebook and Twitter pics. Not sure about phone only contacts though.
Pictures from facebook and names from contact that we directly save to phone are used by defualt for the contacts going to be linked. But we can choose whatever picture and whatever name (from all contacts being linked) by going into settings>linked contacts. Here all the individual contacts for each linked contact will be available. If we want to chose any other picture or name other than that is already there by defualt, we need to click "individual google account" that will open the linked contact in edit mode. Here if we click on picture, all other pictures from all other contacts will be available in drop down menu for selection and same is the case for names.
