Root Synergy RLS1 (non Gmode) kernel issue

I had everything up and running smooth, luckily, took a nandroid and flashed Freedom's aggressive and got stuck on synergy flash screen for atleast 15 min before I pulled the batt and restored nand. Something I'm missing here? Would it have anything to do with the a2sd on synergy and the sense kernel not supporting it? A little help would be appreciated but a rom suggestion should fix the problem! Flashed synergy rom, wiped cache/dav then flashed synergy-dtapps2sd and booted. Everything moved/restored just fine - went back to flash kernel and I was stuck at the synergy splash.

well for me synergy always took me at least 20 min to boot up after flashing it. which synergy rom did you flash? godmode? also which agressive kernel did you try? synergy godmode, synergy nightly, or universal?

also what did you wipe before flashing the kernel?

The aggressive version. I thought it would have no problem with synergy as it's a sense based Rom. Wiped only cache/davlik cache before flashing the kernel on top of the rom as I've always gotten pretty good performance with it.

I don't need to wipe sdext as well if I'm only flashing kernel, correct?

I flashed the latest version I could find on XDA of RLS1 Non God Mode
([ROM] Synergy - [RLS1 08/05/2011] - Now With Warm Sprinkles!)

Was so far back, sense wise, because I was tired of things not performing or not being able to get a2sd set up correctly. Now I have everything set up the way I want, daily function wise, but stuck with a kernel that isn't giving me optimal battery!

Kernel suggestions? I'll give it another go here on flashing and waiting to see if it eventually boots.

Grabbed a shower, smoked a couple cigs, came back to the phone and she had booted up with chopsuey so apparently it's a waiting game that I lost earlier. Thanks for the help - Move along everyone else, nothing to see here!
