Help Sype issues

I had my original SF that I returned due to a very crappy build quality. I never changed the swype settings as it worked perfectly.

My new SF, however, is driving me INSANE with swype. My issue basically revolves around holding "i" and sliding up to get a capital "I". 99% of the time, it automatically changes it to "hi", "ki", "io", or my favorite "jimi". I can't delete any of them to prevent it from happening, even though none of them (besides hi) are words. If I don't have my finger perfectly centered on "i" when I do it, it almost always does one of those. Any ideas?

For the word "l" if you just put in I and move on it will automatically capitalize it

O yea why can you not delete those words? Did you do the highlight word and hit swype key?

Different issue with swype but I noticed some time in the past 3 weeks or so something changed about swype and Im getting a lot more errors than I did before and I too changed nothing on the settings

i think this is the longest ive gone without swype...over 3 weeks the vibrant mt keyboards and better keyboard have kept me away

Yeah see thats the thing, it was about 3 weeks ago wasnt it swype just started getting weird. Im still toogling back and forth between swype swiftkey and smart key pro, they all are ok for different reasons. I just need to settle on one and adapt

This is really strange because I noticed a few weeks ago that swype was starting to become extremely erroneous as well. When I first got it, swype was amazing. Blazing speed and almost no errors. Now on a really long text, I generally have to go back and fix 5+ words.

And no, for some reason it won't let me delete "ki" or "io" or the other words. It's very strange!
