Root System Apps I safely delete. (Extended Version)

i did that and it still broke it. i went through the entire theme and installed every file individually and it was framework-res.apk that broke it. idk if any other files are effecting it but framework-res is the first one that broke it. wtf? any ideas?

as soon as i pushed the original #2 framework-res it fixed the gallery...so weird

*edit- ok this is what i did. i downloaded your theme and took your drawable-hdpi folder and put it inside my framework-res.apk....and it fixed the gallery...so the search continues for which one out of the 900 and something pngs in drawable-hdpi are effecting the gallery for some stupid reason lmao.

Well at least you got it narrowed down. I know it feels good to get to that point.

I would open both hdpi folders side by side and go back and forth making sure the colors are JUST different. Then scroll down 3 clicks on one and 3 clicks on the other so that they are perfectly aligned. So that when you look back and forth everything's the same and if something is different between the 2 if will stand out. does that make sense? Check images that are drastically different.

Replace 1 and push it to the phone and see. It's gonna be a tedious process but itll be worth it ;)

You'll figure it out ;) LMK when you do i wanna know what it is.

ok i finally narrowed it down to two images...it was the vertical and horizontal scrollbar handles lol...which makes since now that i have fixed because if you open an album and then pres on one pic to view it you will see a small horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of the screen.

i guess it didnt like the ones that I was using lol. But i got yours out of your 4.0 theme and changed them to my mint color and it works like a charm now :D

i feel like a very accomplished person now lol.

Haha. I bet you do. I know that exact feeling. I'm glad you figure it out i knew you would. So gallery ics works perfect?
 
I delete all of these on every rom 0_0
I also don't start up a number of apps :D
My boot time is seriously less then my shiny new Transformer Pad Infinity
 
Someone was asking about this thread. Shiny has one in the guide. Mine is an extended version. Some of the apps I delete YOU may still use to pay attention and be careful. ;)

I was afraid of deleting some of those so I just kept in phone but now I can delete without hesitation.

Now, can you (or someone) combines safe to remove list of both visiable app and system app :)

That would be very nice.

Well if it came installed on the phone, it's considered system app. Facebook is considered a system app. I don't think you would need a list saying it's ok to delete Facebook. ;)
