Help System backup

How can I make a backup of my system, apps, settings, etc?

I tried TitaniumBackup but I need to be rooted to use this app. I do not intend to root my system.

Doing a Google search, I found the following procedure. Anyone tried it?
1. You need to have a disk imaging software installed on your computer. We will be using Win32 Disk Imager (Download).
2. After you have downloaded the application, extract it to any location on the PC and run it.
3. After running the program, choose the name and location where you want the image to be saved.
4. That done, select the drive letter your SD card is associated with. For example,

I don't think that is right.
For one thing the card isn't seen from my computer and also the system files aren't on the SD card.I can access the tablet but I don't know if you will get all the files.
I will also look around and see if that will work.

I think the only way to do a full system backup is to root and use a ROM manager like ClockWorkMod (if it works on the tablet) to do a system backup.

People are still working on the mod but I don't think it ready yet.
This tblet is gonna be a tough cookie to crack...

Hi,

There is only one backup of the stock Acer update ROM that can be used.
Acer A500 1.122.01 EMEA GEN5 - Honeycomb 3.01
It only supports English, Arabic and French Languages.

You can also flash either the EU or the US versions of the system.img
but you need ADB shell - SU (Rooted Tablets only)

There are currently no easy recovery apps that can flash a stock or custom ROM.

cheers :)
