Hi,
I cannot offer a solution, just posting to say I got the exact same message a few mins ago (also on T-Mobile with original desire). Anyone know what it is?

You may want to put t-mobile in the thread title.

If it tells you the software version it takes you too, that may help people know what Youre talking about. Or at least the version youre on now...

I'm on T-Mobile and received nothing. But the again I'm rooted and running the superior dGB rom! I suppose the update doesn't recognise my rom and won't prompt me to do so?

"Upgraded" my tmob Desire this morning and the update is 2.29.110.6 - only difference spotted o far is google play rather than android market. I'm hoping that the 16mb download reaops some other benefits than the few 20p purchases currently available in the Google Play (whoever came up with that poor name?).

Anyone else know whats in 2.29.110.6 as I can't find release notes anywhere obvious.

dont be under the illusion that you will get anything other than slight bugfixes and tweeks.

htc havent updated their base for ages and so all you are getting is a tweek from the carrier

Yeah, I foolishly installed an OTA recently from O2 and all it did was remove a massive chunk of internal memory... caveat emptor!
