Instructions:
To update rom you must repeat steps 1 to 9 of the install instructions and if you want Freedom kernel then do step 10 also. If you have any internal to external sd mod like link2sd setup, you'll have to redo it after updating the rom.
As a reminder, I keep a dated change log in post #2 of this thread.
Changes:
- Adjustment so that custom system backgrounds only show in settings and not in contacts
- Color adjustment to secondary play store search bar
- Changed some blue tab and divider accents to white throughout rom to match the theme better
- Changed gradient black app backgrounds to full black
- I also updated the flashable system backgrounds. Now it's just one installer that lets you pick which background you want (screen shot below). This will only work for this new rom update.

If it works on stock then it'll work on this. Refer to the isis thread for further info on how to adjust the build.prop for use with isis.

GT, u rock man! I started checking out ur stuff on the ascend and pretty much bought the f6 cuz u were working on it (and the price was right). You and many others here always make it possible to have a great android experience on a budget minded phone. Not much of a poster since I'm pretty much a noob who's good at following directions, but i haven't seen the answers 2 these questions:
Should I flash back to stock to do the kitkat upgrade now that it has a release for the f6?
Has anyone rooted the f6 after the update and is the rom still compatible?
I'm loving this xperion rom with the kernel (haven't done the sd partition yet, need a new card) just wasn't sure if there would b any benefits to doing the upgrade.

There is no kitkat for this phone yet, it's only for the european f6. For the USA f6 (T-mobile/Metro) it's just a rumor for now, but if it turns out to be true it's due by the end of September.
I made this rom for jellybean so it's not gonna work on kitkat.

I've never tried to add more languages. Never had a need to.

I tried To flash this rom on my f6 metro pcs d12 and after reboot the phone all I see is a big blue screen! so the phone never boots and keep that blue screen I did a factory reset i been flashing roms for a while so i know what i have to do before flash a rom but nothing work this time so i dont know whats the problem with rom or matybe my phone so let me know and see if i can flash it because i would love to try it

I have no idea. This rom has been up for months now and you're the only person that's had this issue. As long as you're on firmware 12b before flashing then it'll install with no issue. Don't know what to tell you besides download and try again or try another rom.

I know its really weird,i flash aokp this morning then i flash the CM11version for the same phone and at last i give it a shot to the experion, i did the exact same thing with all 3 roms u know format system clear all cache and all that stuff so the this experion after install itself reboot the phone,i see the lg logo showed up and boom!! blue screen appears! i tried like for times now and i just returned to the stock firmware because wifi tethering inst working on cm11 and even tho cm11 runs great on this phone and well thanks for reply im gonna try it later and see if I run with a better luck thanks!!

If I'm understanding your first sentence correctly, you tried xperion rom after the other roms. That would be the issue you're having. You need to be on stock firmware 12b before flashing this rom.
