Root [T-Mobile] [ROM][F6] Xperion ROM **Updated 2/11/15**

Last question reguarding youre Xperion ROM there Gametheory. This is my first custom rom I have ever flashed or ran & Im almost positive I know the answer to this & hate to sound like a fool but is freedom kernel a CPU speedclocker like No frills, or setCPU? & by having freedom kernel I wont be needing setCPU/other correct?
 
IF I have to reset my phone Gametheory, would I have to flash freedom kernel again or just download application and install?
 
phone keeps rebooting when i download somthing. need to know if it is because I need to reflash kernel or what might be this new found reboot on its own issue eversince I had to reset phone do to a few apps nt being able to download without the falsr improper storage space warning. solved that now phone wants to bootloop, & nt sure if i have to reflash freedom kernel. please respond Gametheory
 
Does anybody know if downloading the freedom kernel is all U gotta do? I had to reset phone now my phone wants to reboot right before an app finishes downloading that & Im unsure if I flashed somthing to do with freedom kernel before downloading. any word of advice from anyone would be great
 
Really need a hand here I ran into a freedom kernel download site but it said somthin like freedom kernel for lg victory or somthin. I been tryin to find freedom kernel for f6. I flashed once before and was a success. now after full reset I redownloaded freedom kernel app not zip so I am unsure if I need to flash kernel zip again.
 
This question is concerning freedom kernel, running Gametheorys Xperion ROM for LG F6, just need to know if I gotta reflash kernel or just download freedom kernel and clock to my liking? and do I need to delete 2snd copy if I pressed download kernel 2wice trying to set this up???
 
Ya this rom never used to reboot on its own never. Noe every other download it reboots what gives Xperion rom for LG F6!?

Ok so found f6 freedom kernel, prob is it says zip but looks more like a document type file. and I think because its actually not a zip it wont show as such in flashify hmmmmmm wasnt half this hard finding,flashing, and having the first time I did this. & the kicker is I might not even be needing to go through this again but Im not sure about my kernel & if I need to reflash or what. hmmmmmmm Im stumped, hope hope somebody e'll get bck with me on this issue anybody!!!
 
Didn't you tell me a couples times that you're not a noob lol. :rolleyes:

It's real simple...
  1. You can install my freedom kernel app from the play store.
  2. Then you open the app and click the button to install freedom kernel. Simple, right? Much easier than a flashable zip.
  3. Once the kernel is installed you can use the same app to change kernel settings like overclock. Again, simple!
Through the first post in this thread you can find xperion rom and freedom kernel which are hosted on my personal website. Freedom kernel is listed on the xperion page towards the bottom which you would have known if you actually read the page. Both rom and kernel come with simple instructions anyone can follow. The freedom kernel app is straight forward with button clicks. There's no reason why you should be having all these problems and strange files and zips if you just read and follow directions.

Again! Everything can be found through the first post in this thread so there's no reason for you to have a hard time finding anything or ending up with random strange files. At this point I don't even think you installed the rom properly.
 
If I didnt I wouldnt be running it. excuse me for having technical difficulties. Im simply asking if I needed to reflash the freedom kernel after a reset. a yes or no would of been decient but a be snippy dude. Im not ignorant I know where to find youre rom Im on it.

Ok followed the begining link n was lookin at the F3 er somthin before idk but thanks I just flashed the freedom kernel overclocked havent had the reboot on its own issue in a min besides the point. anyway ya wiped cache & flashed freedom kernel overclocked. thanks man my bad Im a tweaker I softbrick often applying tweaks or else youre rom would still be running great as it seamed to be. though I deffinetly didnt have the freedom kernel after the reset I assume I never had it at all then. I feel a lil foolish about that. but I thought this was a place to ask questions and get a lil help so Gametheory if you wanna re-direct me to a Q&A thread for ppl who tweak and have issues with the rom there runnin after a tweak goes bad please Im all in. I mean youre work no bad markings bud, the opposite actually Im just tryin to get her right again. believe me I"ll just figure it out on my own bra.

Is there a step by step guide( thread) I could find on how to install and what do you need to install recovery/ROM/kernel..? ...yes. Noob here, with the same phone . LG f6 D500 10h . tT-Mobile.
...and gapps? Need it? Or is that in the ROM?... Not sure how to go about it...
Don't wanna bug GT with simple question like that. He seems busy as hell...I have too much respect for the guy for that...

I installed this on mine last year with no issues, however it was before TWRP was available. I ended up using CWM. Check out the MetroPCS forum for TWRP instructions. TWRP is also listed in the link above.
