Root [T-Mobile] Run any US carriers ROM on the T-Mobile S4

You can run any US carriers TouchWiz rom on the T-Mobile phone apparently.

See these instructions. Also a thread in the T-Mobile forum.

I haven't tried this yet, but I'm going to give the Verizon Hyperdrive rom a try later. From what I gather, just flash the other carriers rom and one of the kernels made for the T-Mobile SGH-M919.

DO NOT FLASH THE i9500 ROMS -They may brick your device.

Like I said, I haven't tried yet, so you're on your own.

Verizon Hyperdrive rom on my T-Mobile. This could be fun,

I had to add the T-Mobile APN to get data. I also had a problem connecting to my laptop. Still now sure why.

i9505 WanamLite Rom with the new update on T-Mobile SGH-M919.

To flash a i9505 rom, download one, like WanamLite, download one of the kernels made for T-Mobile, ktoonsez TouchWiz kernel or Faux's kernel (scroll down and make sure you get the one for T-Mobile *note - the M version is a normal kernel the U version is for overclocking).

Go to recovery, do a full wipe, flash the rom, do not reboot, flash the kernel. Now you can reboot. It will take a few minutes to boot. Enjoy your smooth bloat free phone.

I haven't run it in a while. I went back to DarthStalker. Best I can remember I did. Check you apn settings.

I would love to do this, but I can only get reception at work by using Wifi Calling, which I assume the non-Tmo ROMs don't offer.

Yeah only the Tmo Roms will have WiFi calling.
