Root Tablet mode, yay or nay?

For those that have used tablet mode on the note, what do you think of it? Is it worth the hassle of setting the rom up the way it needs to be? It looks cool, I have to admit that. But I have yet to find a rom that I really like, with minimal bugs, that supports it. I knwo there are a lot of people out there that use it. Looking for those opinions as well as the opinions of those who tried it, but didn't like it, or just didn't find it to be all that even if it wasn't exactly bad.

I'd be willing to try it at some point as long as the s-pen memo stuff all works, but I'm not rooted yet so I won't be messing with all that for awhile.

btw this may get more replies in the all things root forum.

I am not a fan. Having owned several tabs it just isn't the same on the note's smaller screen.

tried it, immediately went back to 240 dpi, which is perfect for me.

Yeah a lot of the roms that do tablet mode really well end up losing S-pen gestures and s-memo.

Thanks for the move damewolf, my bad.

Mr. Ed, yeah I am considering using 240dpi and a nice launcher that has good landscape use and just trying that out. I have been using paranoid android which seems to be one of the easier roms to use in tablet mode, but it's still a lot of work getting things set up right. It always seems like this is too big or that is too small, or this or that is cut off. Just realized today my lock screen is all messed up in landscape. The clock gets cut off and the unlock is cut off, so I can't just unlock the phone. I have to swipe to the camera to unlock the phone.

Right before I tried paranoid, I was using Only one or ICS objection with go launcher which seemed to be working really nice for me. I think I will go back and try that again at 240dpi this time and maybe a different launcher, not sure about that yet.

LittlrRedDot, you just have to set your phones dpi ate or below 213 o enable tablet mode. This is easier on some roms then others. rom toolbox will allow you to do it. But to make it all really work well together you tend to have to adjust more then just the main dpi, possibly even the dpi for a lot of your apps. But I think once set up properly it could be really cool.
