End of August is still the goal. Admittedly though, a tough one to make.

p.s. This is all relay - I actually don't have anything to do with the development of that app other than reviewing screenshots and giving advice. That's all Rob (and the developer).

Well you know what?

Maybe you should spin a web, and dangle them upside down until they make it go faster :P

Doubt it, lol, not everyone in AF frequent the Lounge though :P Most people simply stay in their phone forums...

...thus the whimsical

at the top of my post. ;) <--- cheap whimsical wink :D

ouch, but thanks.

While I respect the concept of a dedicate app, tapatalk offers people many forums in a single app which is rather usable.

I hope you reconsider and return tapatalk, as you can offer both without any issues.

I like the notion of having more than one method of that kind of access here: both Tapatalk and the Phandroid app.

It's just that the Tapatalk vulnerability was poised to do serious security damage here; that makes admins real gun-shy of an application.

We see a lot of posts citing the security fix as "proof" that it's ok now, so "why don't they re-instate Tapatalk?" After all, it's used at XDA, etc.

The answer to that might be along similar lines as the answer to, "why don't you take that bus to work anymore, you know, the one where you had your life threatened?" ;)

Of course, the answer could also be in the affirmative as to bringing it back.. but I doubt that.

well it sucks its gone, but it seems like it was booted for a good reason, i really am surprised by how big of a shockwave the whole ordeal made, i mean, i read it and didnt even give it a moments thought, made sense, oh well, im going to go microwave some left overs.

see the newest update the other day? the app gets better and better weekly. its one of the best supported apps i have. updated almost weekly with something new. kudos to them

In that case, someone could hold a survey of the riders of the red line in DC where the train ran into another that was parked at the station due to a switching/sensor problem and killed 9 people including the operator and ask them why they still ride it eventhough the problem has not been corrected and they "sort of" know what went wrong.

Admittedly, neither this forum nor Tapatalk are at all significant when you are comparing the only means you have to get to your job in this economy, but I was just going along with your question.

I don't go check for updates, as I have my very own merf to alert me of every single one! :D
