on my rooted prevail, i up graded to tapatalk2 and when i sign in won't work. how do i see my username and pass? i am useing the right one but won't work. even if i go back to old one still won't work. and how would you even change it?

It's always helpful to let others know what you did though. If others have troubles in the future they may find your post of assistance. :)
 
I ended up having a stupid moment. There is no password for tapatalk, I thought there was. The password is for the android forums. And when the forums had a breach and suggested we all change our password I did. Our phone lets us sign in so I didn't worry about it. Then when it updated it wanted me to login. I was trying to use the old password because I forgot about the new 1. That's what the whole problem was but it's all fixed now.
