Task killers and CM6

I used to use Advance Task Killer and Auto Task Killer on my 2.1, but I think I read somewhere that with Froyo (CM6 flash) they are not needed?

Do I need to worry about apps that I'm not able to close out normally, or will Froyo run fine or even faster without a task killer?

Task killers are useless on any Android platform, it's designed to run everything that task killers are made to kill...

Cool, just deleted them. They seemed to help in 2.1, but what do I know...
