Hello all so I flashed mike3d with freedom kernel running smooth but now my phone says 300ish used and 90ish free. How can I get more memory? And is this bad or where its should be?

mine stays somewhere in between 100-200mb free, but i am also partitioned. sense 3.0 and sense 3.5 roms are very big. though if you keep the amount of apps on your phone you should be good to go. so if you want mre internal memory you can either flash aosp roms (they are very small as they do not have sense) or partition your card. but it is suggested that you have at least a class 6 or higher. however, some have gotten away with it on a class 2 or class 4 card.

not sure about your title of your thread though, but i would not use taskers or any task killers for that matter. android does a pretty good job at maintaining its own resources.

+1 on partitioning your sd card.

So what about the Task manager that comes installed on the Sense 3.0 and 3.5 roms?
It is always checked to shut down apps at start up and I just leave it there.

Thanks,
Naters

i really never use it to be honest. i never had a rogue app running loose. my battery life seems to be easy to control with just a custom kernel and setcpu. i think your setting should be fine.
