Root TB Help

Ok I splurged and bought the full version and I want to switch over from my backup root. So what I want to do is backup all my apps and their associated data, so that I can restore them on a new rom. But I'm quite confused by all the options. If I do a batch operation, won't it also backup the system data from my current rom, which when restored to the new rom would monkey things up? And what's with the different colors?

I read the TB Guide... and I'm comfortable backing up and restoring induvidual apps. But I don't want to spend and hour backing up and another hour restoring.

Someone clue me in here please.

You can tell it what kind of batch operation to do. When you tap batch it will calculate the scenarios and under the back up you choose the one you want the first is all user apps i normally just tapp that and go. Also when you do a restore it will give you a chance to pick any you don't want to restore.

colors
RED - SYSTEM APPS
White - User Apps
Green - stuff on system that only parts can be backed up or they are titanium things (dont really remember the exacts on this one sorry)

So the first scenario - all user apps - wil save all the apps and associated data so that once I restore it will be just like the old rom?

I had too many problems with my backup root.

Wow, TB is waaaay faster!

Need some help! I backed up everything and flashed CM7, downloaded TB from the market, but now I can't find it anywhere. I can't add it to my homescreen, it's not in the downloads folder, or the app drawer?

Help!

Ok I downloaded the regular version then it let me have access to the paid version. But now it's stuck on backing up a wallpaper. What do I do when the backup sticks like this, pull the battery and try again?

No don't pull battery unless nothing else works. The only time tb has run slow or seemed to get stuck is when I was running low on space. You may just need to reboot wipe dalvic and cache. Check your space though
