TB is Stuck on 1x since 11pm tonight in NYC

Checking in from Tacoma washington. Nope. No 3g here. This week has been shitty for me and the things i like to play with. First the psn is down and i'm forced to go outside, then i have connection issues yesterday with my bolt (3g still working, but spotty. On and then off) now it's on 1xx, then i wake up 10 minutes ago and my comcast modem isn't outputting any internet (quick reset fixed but still) Is this a precursor to the apocalypse?
 
1X here in Hotlanta! It started yesterday around 10 AM. Only affected the users near downtown. Now the outage has moved up to the North - I'm in Alpharetta about 1 mile from Verizon Wireless headquarters. Nothing but 1X.

I drive by the headquarters every morning on the way into work. This morning, before I even figured out I had no 4G signal, I observed that there were a many more cars in the parking lot than usual. I drive by around 6:45 and there aren't many cars there that early, but today there were probably 3 times as many. Something's UP, and it ain't 4G.

Just think about it if you were one of those people who paid $100 for an aircard and are shelling out $60 a month for access! That REALLY blows.

LOL, there is always someone who has it worse.

I think this may be the battery fix. Verizon is saying, OK, you want 2 day battery life? Here it is! :D

I was just about to post the samething. I am in NJ with LTE, when I turn on my phone this morning I am also stuck on 1X. I have the LTE Toggle but that did nothing. I also pulled the Sim Crad same issue. Must be an outage.
 
Same here clearwater Florida. Woke up to 3g then dropped out to nothing at all. Are you actually seeing a 1x symbol? I have never seen that. I switch to WiFi then back 3g pops up then off 20 secs later.

Oh 3g isn't down. It's just our bolts giving us the middle finger. Check out: 3G fix for Thunderbolt - xda-developers

Apparently, our bolts have a different setting that makes the handoff between 3g and 4g smoother. But that setting is also keeping us from switching to 3g right now, so our phones are going straight to 1x. They provide a fix so you can get 3g back on your phone by changing a few settings around. Only downside is when 4g is back up, you gotta go back through settings and reenable 4g.
 
Boston, MA chiming in. 1x here, too! The fix linked above worked 3G is on, but I have NO data connection. Going switch back & do a battery pull.

Hope they get it fixed ASAP!
 
This is absolutely unacceptable right now...If I was on 3G right now I wouldn't be that pissed, but to not have 4G and at least 3G to fall back on for so many hours now is just ridiculous. VZW u get the Gas Face for this one!
 
I've been back up to 4g for about an hour now. It came back at 3g before that for 20-30 min. I did not do the switch to 3g by calling in thing or by running an app. It just came back to 3g on its own and now 4g. Here's hoping it stays on and the other cities get it back asap, too.
