Root Teach Me How To Teather

I never needed to set up a tether, but my landlord stopped providing cable and Internet.... So whilst im waiting to get my cable turned on I need to leverage my good 4G signal to fire up my laptop, but I have no idea how. Somebody wanna run through the process with me?
 
If you go to the Play Store and download ClockworkMod Tether, it's self-explanatory.
Or, if your Note has tethering (I don't have a Note), it too is self-explanatory.
 
Well there is no such app in the play store, and if it was self explanatory I wouldn't be asking for assistance.... But thanks for being helpful.
 
Use Titanium Backup app to "Freeze" the TetheringManager app
Then go to Settings --> Wireless and network --> Tethering and portable hotspot

I guess you got the help you need.
But I just wanted to show you the app (right where I said it was):

And it truly is self-explanatory; I know you could have figured it out because I was able to.

I just thought that maybe you hadn't even opened the tether app yet to see the real simple step-by-step instructions.
