Why can't Android be on the iPhone with Verizon offered at Sprint's price?

I think the new iPhone is utterly GORGEOUS! I would LOVE to have one. Too bad it's only on AT&T. If the iPhone was offered thru other cell companies, I could see myself buying one AND a new Mac Pro desktop computer.

Still glad that I chose an Evo with Sprint though.

yeah the iphone looks nice and all but it doesnt do it for me. i love my android phone and have always loved android. i wouldnt switch to crap at+t for nothin in the world, not even the newest iphone. wait til 2.2 hits these android phones and then see what all the apple fanboys have to say about that.

2.5 hours of Pandora a day (not hard when I am at the gym for 1.5 hours/day) will put you over the 2gb/mo cap BY ITSELF!!!

I'm sure the new iPhone will be a godsend for the people that buy 'em. Personally, I'll pass - even if it was available on Sprint.

FWIW I've never owned an Android phone or an iPhone. I've played with both briefly and I'm going the Android route.

It's all a matter of preference, but I personally think it looks ugly and too blocky....even the previous iPhones had more stylishly designed angles and curves.

The screen resolution is awfully nice though, but it almost feels wasted on a 3.5 inch screen. Apple should have made it 3.7 at least.

Is it just me or do utube vids take forever to load. Otherwise surfing on iPad was easy.

That's EXACTLY my thoughts. I needed a change and if I'm jumping to Android, might as well get top of the line right now.

I'm ready to save some money though, which I will monthly with Sprint over ATT

The iPhones have some nice hardware and software, but the data cap alone on AT&T makes it a no go for me. I am mostly a Windows desktop & laptop guy who just upgraded to his first smartphone and being on Sprint, the Evo was my obvious choice. Loving it so far!

Yes Youtube takes forever on the iPad and constant stutters on my 30 mb down/ 10 mb up cable connection
