Tension between HTC and Verizon over launch?

I've been confused on that as well - I've seen reports that it would be 3.7" matching the Shift, but it would make more sense to just base it on the S.

The Incredible S is barely, if any upgrade from the Inc

You've played with the S?

I dunno - with the newer 45 nm process silicon being much more power efficient and the GPU upgrade, I'd have expected few to call that barely an upgrade, so I'm a little bit surprised - but if you've used both, I'll stand back.

The omission of the obligatory 8gb (or more now) internal space seems strange and self defeating. ESPECIALLY if dynamic storage is pushed beyond Honeycomb.

I admit I'm confused - there's only speculation on the Dinc2 specs; the Inc S and the Bolt both have the MSM8255, FFC, newer silicon, yet Jay claims one is a huge improvement and the other will be barely noticed.

We know that the carrier variants for Verizon phones seem to always carry more memory - so until someone unveils the truth behind the hardware, I think the info at hand is going to remain contradictory.

And remember, Android is Linux - with minor changes, you can cast memory just about anywhere.

I can agree with htc being pisses I called them.the other day to ask about the T.B. and was told they shipped the phones to vzw a while ago and there just not releasing them

I think the Thunderbolt is coming out as a phone for HTC. The Indredible 2 will be a droid phone that Verizon helped develop. This could be why Verizon is slow moving on Thunderbolt. Also, the Thunderbolt will test the 4g network and the other 4g phones will be better from this. Htc should be mad over this.

Getting out with the first 4G phone on Sprint, then the first 4G phone on Verizon - I think they're establishing a rep for the future.

At the beginning of the year, they warned suppliers that they intended to triple their smartphone sales this year.

I dunno about mad, but I'd say HTC is crazy like a fox.

Speaking the Incredible 2...What exactly is the allure of the TB over the DINC2?

4g but who knows anymore I mean if they are going to increase prices for 4g then the inc2 looks like a great choice hopefully they fixed battery issues I loved the inc but the battery life killed it always having to worry about it dying on me. But then again thats how it is with HTC and phones.
