my argument with that...

terrorist attacks.. are suicide runs...
they only want 1 outcome... terror with many deaths... including their own.

so.. public with guns ready to shoot..
but in most cases.. isn't it too late? because it is after the fact?

too late? <NO> cuz an immediate return fire will reduce the sheer amount of casualties and enable a much larger possibility of saving injured lives as well. better to shoot back after only a cpl rounds fired than NO defense and everyone's lives snuffed out. Madd RESPECT & PROPS to the police chiefs taking proper measures to ensure safety. It's a guarantee that there will be fewer friendly fire injuries than Terrorist caused deaths.

The official close to the Saudi Arabian government said that Saudi intelligence officials did not have her on any of their watch lists and she did not appear to have any link to extremists in the region. Neither Malik or Farook were on the FBI’s radar in the U.S., officials said.

...pretty confident, considering it took him completely by surprise, it took him half a week to even admit it was terrorism and the terrorists were not under any type of suspicion.

Sometimes maybe. Didn't apply to multimillionaire, Bin Laden, or this week's San Bernadino terrorist and his lovely wife terrorist who had it better than many in this country. Also, didn't apply to homegrown terrorist Timothy McVeigh, to name a few examples of some high profile ones.

Wow... just wow. He is the leader of the most powerful country on this planet, so I can't help but expect him to have instant access to the most reliable information available. Is that expecting too much?
 
I'm sorry to express my pessimism online:

I think London and San Bernardino are the tip of the iceberg – does anyone really think they're done now? I think we're going to be hit by much more and much worse. And I'm afraid our president, who ran as a 'community organizer' eight years ago, is not capable of grasping the concept of having a true death-seeking enemy right in our backyard. I think such a predicament would be difficult for any president, but especially for Obama.

The ISIS Trail of Death

Since October 10, ISIS and its sympathizers around the world have killed at least 525 people in six attacks in six countries outside its so-called caliphate. American counterterrorism officials say that of the six attacks, three were directed by ISIS from its territory in Syria and Iraq and another two were so-called "announcement" attacks -- local ISIS elements revealing their existence in dramatic fashion. Though one of the two people who carried out the final attack, the massacre in San Bernandino, swore allegiance to ISIS, officials are still determining the extent of any relationship she and her husband might have had with the terror group.​
