Help Tested games on the E3D

Grand Prix Story runs slow compared to a Nexus S and Epic. Do some of these games needed tobe redone for dual core CPUs ?

Most of the information in this thread is useful, but can someone please provide a PROVEN list of genuine 3D games that works on the 3DVO... Something similar to amount of depth that the Spiderman game offers. I saw a 3D Warcraft video on Youtube today which looked absolutely amazing with the amount of depth perception that I'm looking for, but I don't think it's playable for the 3DVO.

It worked fine for me as well. The game itself isn't exactly power hungry either. Most apps probably could be redone to use the dual cores better, but Android itself should be helping with it some already.

The only games that use the 3D effect at this point are those from Gameloft:

Spiderman: Total Mayhem
N.O.V.A.
Let's Golf! 2
Asphalt 6: Adrenaline
GT Racing: Motor Academy
Assassin's Creed: Altairs Chronicles

is Assassin's Creed 2 or the racing game any good?

I'd love to have some good 3d games to play but spiderman was garbage and dont want to waste my money on another garbage game.

HELP!!

I bought Gran Turismo and Assassin's Creed, but BOTH games have the same problem: A button won't hold longer than one second!

When I try to move in AC, I can only hold the direction pad for 1 second then it stops recognizing my press, I have to remove my finger and press it again.

For GT, same issue, I can only accelerate for 1 second then it stops and I have to press it again

Not a hardware issue, no other apps have this issue, just the two gameloft games I bought.

Anyone else have this problem???

HHmm have you tried resetting your phone?

@ogrenator yep :(

It works periodically, but the longest it's lasted without glitching out is about 5 minutes

I thought it might be that I'm accidentally touching the screen with my palm somewhere or something but when it was working I purposefully laid my palm on the screen and it still worked fine, I have no idea why it would do something like that :/

If anyone thinks it would help I could put up a video of what I'm talking about?

EDIT: here ya go, nobody asked but why not. Sorry it's out of focus, forgot to switch to Micro mode since I was close.

Is this only gameloft games? Have you tried any twin stick shooters like gun bros and meteor blitz.....since those games require multiple points to be pressed...Idk just a thought...get gun bros its free and see what happens...could be your phone...I wish I could test those games but I'm waiting on gameloft to allow me to get the games since I payer for them on my OG EVO

Figured I might as well get something to pass the time on my lunch break when I go to work. I hope they're worth it once they finish downloading.

Field Runners seems to work good so far.....and a cool RTS called Equilibrium is a Unity Engine game that seems to work great ingame but the menus are pretty much not usable outside of the actual game world...

After playing at least two of the three games I am DEFINITELY pleased. The intensity of the 3D effect can make your eyes crossed in some of the opening animations (Let's Golf 2), but after fastforwarding through it, the game play itself and depth of field is amazing. I hope they come out with more 3D games soon.

Although I do have a question for anyone that can answer it... What happens when I upgrade to a 32 gig SD card, and how would I go about saving those games to my home PC? Because I'll be damned if I purchase them again. I'm not confident that my HTC Sync will save something like that, and even if it did, where would the files be. And would it reload & install those games once I do upgrade my SD card?

As usual, any help would be appreciated.

Don't use HTC sync, just plug your phone up to your computer and set it as a hard drive instead of just charge...then open up your my computer and navigate to the mounted sd card...just create a folder on your desktop called backup or something and copy the contents of the sd card over...then when you put the 32 gig in do the same but copy them back over to the sd card....the phone will figure out everything it needs after you do that and reboot...everything will work just fine

The Gameloft site will have the games you purchased under "My Download's" as well so you can get them again if needs be in the future. It would be faster to copy the game data over to your PC though then onto the new card.
