Think I should give this one a go? Do you lose the zte recovery once you flash this using fastboot? Does nandroid backup and recovery work? I am not asking for you take take responsibility for my device.

anyway you could help me to get fastboot to read device sebastian i have all possible drivers installed but somehow it doesn't read device in fastboot wth....

kk in order for it to mount cache, the cache has to be formatted first then it cann be mounted, but other than that everything works thanx sebastian your awesome

for anyone trying to flash this...know how to backup your recovery first and have that handy. cuz , no, it does not save the original recovery. we have the file so we can always revert

new problems found, backup freezes on sd-ext, could be because of version of cwm, another problem upon restoring md5 mismatch and if it passes that phone goes into a mode called dfu mode

your phone is not bricked lol im getting my system and boot for you to push and you should hopefully be fine.......*fingers crossed*

sorry to inform everyone but another error has been found, when going to restore any backup it says md5 mismatch.

Which file does it fail on?

If you copy the files off your SDcard onto your PC and do a md5sum do the md5s match the ones in nandroid.md5

I think I read someone mentioned there was a symbolic link in data, it could be upsetting things...

It autofails at md5 automatically doesn't even start to restore but i got peasarecool phone back up nd running off a backup i made so my backup restores correctly. Yes the md5s match. Oh btw installed link2sd it says cahce is full 299mb out of 299mb so cache is not clearing as it should with cwm

I haven't seen peasarecool back in this forum. So I am wondering if he might of had some issues with recovering from a soft Brick. If so that sucks because he seemed like a big help on getting cwm running in the sequent. Also I feel bad for someone on the cutting edge bricking a phone this was not a stupid noobie move.

Peasarecool is still around seems he or she has been busy his/her phone we got it back up nd running peasarecool is on irc freenode.eu #oudhitsquad im usually on there as well much easier form of communication

good work! so far this recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.5s-warp2.img works fine. cache clears, backup and restore work. thanks guys, hope a rom is around the corner!

EDIT: cache does not clear, not from the menu or from adb shell. df shows same % of usage, my bad!

If there is a symlink between data and media that's causing issues with backups and what not then why don't you just remove the symlink? I cant see it impacting anything other then linking downloaded apps to the media partition. If you have the data partition which has storage space then just unlink it lol.
