Root Tether apps for the HTC G2

Is there a good tethering app for the HTC G2. I have the WiFi Tether root app. I've tried using it, but it always resets my phone. I'm running Cyan:6.1.1 on the G2, obviously.

Thanks!! I just finally got my phone rooted today!! So I'm still exploring. LoL!! Any other Root-only apps I can find about!! And any good ROMS? LoL!!

Are you talking about the one where you go to 'Wireless N Networks" >> "Tethering and Portable Wifi" and configure from there? Because if you are, that's the phone's original tethering app. Where's the CM built in tethering at?

The reason being, when my friend tries to wifi hotspot to my phone, a browser opens telling him to buy the tethering/wifi hotspot for $15.00

I've been using the wifi hotspot app since the update, and not had to pay anything. I, however can't tehter. I can wifi hotspot, but I can't tether. *sad face*

Nevermind. Got things fixed. I can tether and Wifi hotspot. My friend's laptop still can't connect to my phone for some weird reason, but I rooted my other friends Evo, so he doesn't need me any more any ways. But it doesn't matter since I'm data kapped until the 25th. :(
 
I just use the one under my settings..works fine for me..been using it for about 3 months now..this is how I connect to xbox live and my labtop
