Tether phone so ipod touch can get wifi

I was wondering if this was possible, my phone is rooted, and i do not have internet where i am. I am tethering my phone to the computer, and thats how im online typing this. I really want to get wifi on my ipod as well, but since theres no wifi where i am, i was wondering if i could use my phone somehow?

you are rooted.. so go to the market and look for app called.. wifi tether for root users"

that is it.. use that app when you need to tether via wifi .. you should be able to tether the computer and the ipod and more at the same time.

Then you don't get to use the wifi tether app. You can get pdanet and tether (with a wire) to your computer.

I've read about it in the past and almost did it until the next update came out and everyone had to re-root - it seams very technical....Where is this root for dummies - one click method....?

1. don't do any OS updates via the official channels. wait a day or 2 and it will be available via dev community. If you do.. you may loose root! Part of the game.
