tethering - a little help needed

hey guys - i just moved into a new place and i wont have internet till next friday.

im trying to learn how to tether my transform ultra so i can have some internet until i get my real internet connected next week.

i downloaded barnacle, and it seems to work (thats how im online to type this) but with barnacle, it seems that i have to connect to the phone through my wireless adapter. can't i somehow connect straight to the phone's internet connection without having to go through my wireless adapter?

anyway im amazed to see it working at all, otherwise i couldnt even type this :D

anyway, if someone could advise me a little, i would appreciate it!

thanks ;)

edit - i'm using chevron rom if it helps to include that information

Since you're rooted if you don't want to use a usb cable you can use wireless tether for root users just give it superuser permission ignore ad hoc failure make sure you clear your settings on pc or labtop or w/e you're using first before tethering. You can also usb tether too I get 54.0 mbps with usb and 20 something wireless

If your running version 5.1 of the shevron ROM you can use the foxfi app for wireless tethering just set it up and start surfing.
