Help Text Alert for V/M

not sure if is part of kit kat or something to do with my carrier (rogers canada) but within the last week - anytime i receive a voicemail i get a text alert. super annoying.

if i already 1. get a missed call notification & 2. get a v/m alert why the heck do i need 3. a text about said voicemail?!?

anyone know how i can turn this annoying "feature" off?

Maybe check your account settings with your provider. There might be an option in there to get a text when you have a voicemail.
 
lol of course i haven't...not the fondest way to spend my time.

but if it is service provider related, it would be super new as like i mentioned, it just started doing this.

thanks for the suggestion tho, may have to suck it up & call them.

Is it a txt from a specific number not related to any other number txting you informarion about your account from roggers?

If so, just block the txts (I am assuming an unlimited txt plan, and even if not, carrier txts souldent be counted anyways)

Thus, one setting, and no phone call, band aids your problem.

Check blocking mode in the settings menu. Or any call/txt blocker from play should work.
 
good question. but nope. its a text from that specific callers number.

so if you're saved in my contacts, i get a text from you letting me know you left me a v/m. lol

Vmail to txt feature a lot of times you can unsubscribe from phone or your carrier can turn it off
