Text Issues with Froyo

I am having major issues with CyanogenMod-6 for Hero CDMA - V6.0.0-RC1


I can send text messages but cannot receive any.

I flashed from Fresh 2.3.3

RA Heroc 1.6.2


Did the Wipe Data/Factory Reset

Flashed the Rom
Flashed the Google Apps


Not receiving texts.. everything else apparently working fine.

Did a Re-Wipe and Re-Flash. (Odd thing though.. when I re-wiped and re-flashed, I found some of the apps that I had downloaded still on the rom???)

Tried again to no avail.

Flashed my Nandroid back-up back to Fresh 2.3.3 and received all of the text messages immediately.


Any help?

Try using Handcent, download from the market. Let us know

Used Handcent on the first try to no avail.

After re-wipe used the stock messenger to no avail.

No text messages.

No issues here, not sure. I'm running the 819 and still have not run into issues. The only thing I can say is try the 819, wipe data, cache and Davlik cache

Try deleting the data in your messaging app, then reboot phone, maybe that would work
